Ecological House Project

Ecological House Project

The ecological house project, carried out in 2013 in collaboration with ITU Faculty of Architecture and Technobee Academy, is an exemplary innovative study for Turkey.

The Ecological House, which utilizes solar energy to the maximum level and is made of recycled materials, has a minimum carbon emission. The building's electrical energy needs are met by 27 photovoltaic panels placed on the roof. The four thermal panels used both produce hot water and support floor heating. Heating and cooling are also provided by an air-source heat pump. The recovery device constantly provides fresh air to the environment. The house also has a rainwater storage system. Thanks to the gray water purification system, gray water collected from sinks is purified and used for garden irrigation. Thus, up to %70 water savings are achieved.
